Brymbo Remembers

Over the past few weeks people and organisations from across Brymbo have come together to Remember the sacrifice made 100 years ago.

One of our members Keith Walker has researched information about the 62 soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War, and we’ve co-funded the printing of a book using Keith’s work along with Brymbo Community Council. Copies were distributed during the Concert of Remembrance at St Mary’s Church on Sunday 11th November. Copies can be viewed in the church, at Brymbo Enterprise Centre and at Brymbo Heritage Area.

Brymbo Rocks

Our next event is Brymbo Rocks, our annual live music event in the remains of the old foundry. This year we’re spreading the event over two days, starting at 6:30pm on Friday 21st September and then running from 1pm to 9:30pm on Saturday 22nd. Bands, fun, friends, food and drink. Keep your fingers crossed for the weather..or bring a brolly if needs be 🙂
